3rd gen Tacoma springs

All ,

I have searched and searched but came up short . I have both a 2020 Tacoma TRD off-road and a 1997 4Runner Sr5. Neither are stock , both lifted. So here’s my question .

- I have my stock set of TRD off-road front springs off my Tacoma . I’d like to see what they would do on the front of my 1997 4Runner . Here’s the current setup
- OME nitro charger struts with OME 882 coils . Than are too stiff for me. Has anybody tried the 3rd ten taco coils on a 3rd gen 4Runner ? Any idea in lift , ride , etc ?

Thank!

It is possible to install the 2020 Toyota Tacoma TRD off-road front springs on your 1997 Toyota 4Runner Sr5, but the lift and ride quality will vary as the two vehicles have different suspension systems. The OME nitro charger struts and OME 882 coils that you currently have on the 4Runner may affect the performance of the Tacoma springs, so it is difficult to predict the exact outcome. It may be best to consult with a suspension specialist or mechanic to determine if this swap will provide the desired outcome, and if so, the necessary adjustments that may need to be made.
