Continental Terrain Contact H/T

After my OEM Bridgestone Duelers wore out at 76k miles I replaced them with Continental Terrain Contact H/T' and Im pretty impressed.

They have a design that claims to makes the tire quieter and I will say it does work. I can have a conversation on the phone at 70-75mph with out raising my voice.

UTQG of 800 AB is pretty impressive too.

I would recommend checking them out at TireRack so you can read the reviews.

wrong forum for you, you expected to hate Highway Terrain tires here.
Continental is 42 lbs - heavier than Bridgestone 39 lbs - due to thicker sidewall.
1 lbs tire weight adds 10 lbs to vehicle weight, and percentage wise reduces fuel economy. Continental tires equipped mostly on European cars good for their German hwy. For our potholes a softer tire is better.

Since this is not generation specific, moving to Wheels+Tires section so others looking for tire info can see.

Im still getting 22-23 mpg with the new tires just like I did with the old ones.

It really nice to be able to have a conversation at 70mph without raising your voice.

I bought them at Tire Rack and had them shipped to and installed by Discount Tire.
