I'll first say this is the 2nd Lo Jack I've purchased but the first Early warning system.

Lo Jack EWS was installed 2 weeks after purchase of my runner. It states EWS will call you within 15 minutes of you vehicle being moved. EWS has not called my cell or emailed me once during a test.

I have had the Lo Jack Tech. come out 5 times to repair because the EWS failed to notify me.

Their final response was I had to drive north of Washington DC to receive a call or response. Lo Jack states they do not have cell coverage south of DC, so EWS will not call me to let my know my 4Runner has been moved without my consent.


I live & work south of DC so I informed them that's not going to work. It states in their brochure that Fairfax, Prince William, Alexandria,. Falls Church EWS will work but it doesn't.

So to make a long story short Lo Jack EWS was removed from my 4R but Lo Jack Recovery is still installed.

Who the hell knows if Lo Jack Recovery really works???? Do you?!?
