Between the t1806 and t1808, which has better color matching to the stock 2008 SR5 dash?
Also, what is the part number for the iPod cable for the 1806?

I have the IPod cable on order and will install that once it arrives. Not the best of picture as my camera batteries were dying.

MileHi (or anyone else that may be able to help): do you have a photo of the T1808 at night? I've got an '07 that I'm trying to determine the best color match. I like the looks of the 1808 better than the 1806, but am thinking the color match is going to be better with the 1806. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

The color on our 1807 is a perfect match for the dash on our SR5. I've been told the 1808 has a more reddish color.

that's what I'm hearing too, but hoping to find some clear photos. I've been searching through here, and haven't found anything of either that's a clear shot at night, showing how close the 1806 or 1808 are to the rest of the dash lights.
Thanks!

Here is my T1808. I think it's close enough to the stock lights. It never bothered me.

Can someone please tell me if what I plan to do is going to work?
2008 SR5 4r
I have Sirius installed in my truck via Aux input in the center console.
I want to install an 1806 Scion H/U with PT546-21062 for Ipod connectivity.
-Can I install both these things and not lose the Sirius connectivity via Aux in the center console?
-Will the Aux recognize both the iPod cable AND the Aux input in the center console? Can I just push it twice for Sirius, once for iPod? Thanks for the help.

See posts 52 & 53, by mn4runner. It all works together.
The iPod & AUX are separate inputs to the back of the H/U.
iPod is the long-skinny slot at lower-left. I believe the AUX/CD-Changer is the smaller rectangle opening, just above the iPod input.
mn4runner probably has info on the necessary adapter cables.
Pressing the AUX button more than once, will cycle through the extra inputs (iPod, XM or CD).

If you want the Alpine and aren't in a hurry, watch Ebay auctions.I paid $202.50 shipped. You can also try car-part .com.It searches salvage yards all over the USA and Canada.Search for a 2010 or newer Xa or Xd.I found a couple on there cheap. You may be able to get the wiring that way too,get the very sought after usb plug.
