3rd gen Navigation upgrade? OEM look w/AUX port

Hi all. just picked up a sweet 00 LTD and have already starting thinking about changing some things around. right now im looking for something that looks oem with navi and an aux port. ive seen a few posts about scion navi's but it looks like they all have an ipod hookup. which doesnt work for me. i have an iphone and i prefer to use pandora and not the ipod feature. i think when the radio has the ipod hook up. it only allows you to use the ipod. hopefully that makes sense. can anyone chime in here?

Depending on the manufacturer of the head unit, pandora may work with an ipod input. I know it does on my Pioneer AVIC-D3, which is what I would recommend as a great factory looking nav unit. It also has just an AUX in if you are worried. I would post pictures of mine but it's in the body shop currently.

I know exactly what you mean about the iphone. I didn't think it was possible to play pandora out of the dock connector but it is.

My Pioneer head unit has a USB ipod/iphone connection and seems to have 2 ipod modes. Head unit control and ipod control. The default is head unit control where it shows the artist and track on the head unit. But if you switch to ipod control, the ipod is in control and you can play pandora out of the dock connector which will also charge your phone so you battery doesn't die from all the 3g use. Also, in this mode, song info doesn't show up on the head unit but you can still use the head unit to skip to the next song, etc.

I'm sure this would work on any pioneer unit with a usb ipod interface. I don't know about other brands. I did also run an AUX cable to my glove box b/c i wasn't sure if the ipod stuff would work with iphones.
