Interesting accessory:

Might have to give one a try...

If it works as they say it could be useful.

I find my 4runner seat bolsters do not provide much lateral support when going around corners.

This also might help when driving on sidehills.

The CG-Lock lets your automotive seat belt work like an aircraft seat belt: when you pull the lap belt tight, it stays as tight as you want
Found that in their FAQ. Until I read that, I was failing to see what it provided. Seemed like it was a $40 strap to tighten the seat belt.... I never thought about how a lap belt loosens itself over time.

I'd be interested in hearing from members if they've used this before (on a 4runner or not).....

toybox, the device allows you to tighten only the lap portion of your seatbelt, thereby "holding you in your seat" tighter, allowing you to sit back against the seat for better support and control of your vehicle during extreme maneuvering. (hard corning, climbing, rough terrain, etc.) Read the FAQ for more details.
