Bridgestone REVO's

i am looking to get some Bridgstone REVO's probably from tire rack. Tire Rack only sells the REVO's with the outlined white lettering, however many of the guys on here have the REVO's without white lettering. I was wondering if this is just the other side of the tire or if it is a completely different tire, and if so where can I order them. Thanks for your help. Also wondering if i move up from 265/65/17 to a 265/70/17 will i have rubbing issues??

From what I read and through past experience with Revos, the white letters dirty up like they were never there when you mount them 'letters in'.Going up to 265-70s with Revos won't rub. The rubbing issues I've read about are from the BFG-KOs,those tires are so square they have "corners"!

Bridgestone only makes the Revo's with white lettering on one side. Most the guys on here running Revo's (myself included) have the white lettering facing inward so you don't see it. I did not have any rubbing issues when I went up to a 70 series tire even before I did my spacer lift.

Ditto for me . Actually when I first my first set of Revos on I had the white letters out , but changed it a few weeks later and have run blacks out on both sets since.

Also I had my tires swapped out for Revos the first day and went to the 265/70/17 = no rubbing either.

Once it stops raining I will wash it and post some pic, it looks pretty sweet, much meaner than the stock tires

Revos

Anyone else with revos notice that the steering wheel shakes at high speeds and have a tough time staying straight. The place that installed the tires said they balanced them and checked the allignment, maybe i should take it somewhere else.

You need to take them somewhere else to be rebalanced; you shouldn't have any shakes and they should drive straight and true.

My Revos have been some of the best tires I've ever had. I have 265/70/17's and have never had any rubbing issues. I'm going up to 285's in few weeks and will most likely stay with Revos.
You have to get them roadforce balanced.
Make sure your tireshop has the Hunter machine.

Ideally you should have used the proper adapter along with a road force balancing as mentioned above. You should have no vibration at all and I dont with mine. The road force balancing will tell you if you need to reject the tire and get a replacement which can be the case. You can read all about it at Gadgets Site on this page.

BTW, I take mine to Discount Tire and they are awesome. Not sure if you have one where you are, but if you do I highly recommend them.

Yep

Another Revo owner here with white letters inward.

BTW you will not be disappointed, they are fantastic tires. Nice aggressive tread pattern and yet nice and quiet on the highway.
