What is this plug

I was taking the T4R apart last week to swap HUs and I noticed this extra plug behind the AC and Diff lock buttons. It's not connected to anything and has a thick yellow wire. Can anyone tell me what this is?

EDIT: Added the picture

Funny thing is: I just posted same question in general topics. LOL. I know for sure it's not traction controll plug (does not fit the switch).

haha...I just noticed your post in the general section and came back over to mine to respond to you with the same thing you responded to me with a link....did you look at the maze of wiring-diagram-finding information?

Well if that's true, then that just leaves the RSCA defeat switch. I haven't been behind that panel in several months, so I can't remember what the 4 connector wires all look like.

RSCA= Rolling Side Curtain Airbags (I think that is it)....basically turning your side curtin airbags on & off.

BTW...is that a puka shell necklace wrapped around your turn signal?

Yes, Rollover Side Curtain Airbags or something like that. You can turn them off manually so you can 4wheel with it and not accidentally set off the side airbags - which by default will deploy when the truck reaches a certain side-to-side attitude or angle. That's what that far right switch is in my T4R - just says "RSCA" on it.

Interesting. I don't have the RSCA feature. Nice to know what that plug is for though.

Yeah, I got it from going to a luau in Kona last summer when I was visiting some girl. Nice reminder of the beauty and fun of the big island. Truly is paradise!
