Doug Thorley Headers

Hello site, my name is Brad and I'm the guy that contacted Doug Thorley about making headers for the Toyota 4.7 V8. This has turned into quite a project. I wanted to get headers for my 2004 4Runner with the 4.7 V8 until I found out after days of looking that headers did not exist for this car/engine make-up; but Frank at Doug Thorley's said that if I could get 20-25 folks signed-up for the headers, they'd make them. I took this to mean that I would have to go from website to website and give folks the spiel about Doug Thorley and give them the contact info and Doug would keep track of it.

I was originally posting on Yota Tech and T-20 but it was brought to my attention yesterday that off-road guys probably wouldn't be too interested in headers, and that guys (and gals) that use their 4Runnder for the road would probably be more interested and I was directed to this sight - so hello!

I currently have a list of questions that I submitted to Frank yesterday afternoon - such questions as what will the header do for our vehicles? More RPM or torque, maybe MPG, etc... and I have not gotten an answer as of yet. When I do I will post them on this sight.

If you would like to ask Frank at Doug Thorley's a question (remember they are in California so they are on PST), feel free to give him a call at (800) 347-8664, FAX (951) 371-1623, email him at [email protected], or send a message through the website @ www.Dougthorleyheaders.com/contact/

If you'd like to ask me a question, ask away!

Thanks,
Brad

Great Mr. Banks! Give Frank or Nick (another sales rep. that works at Thorley's) a call.

Right now, from what I know, it is you and me with 18 more to go! We'll get 'em. It may take time, but I think after folks realize what the gains are, the price becomes worth it. Heck, just the mere fact that people have been starving for headers for the V8 and now they have a chance! Hopefully they see it that way too!

Thanks,
Brad

Doug Thorley Headers

Has anyone used the contact through website option when trying to sign up for the Headers list? My options are limited out here in Iraq. I sent two emails through the site asking to respond via my hotmail which I can only check after work hours. Just checking if anyone has had a response.

Yes, I've been in contact with them (the Doug Thorley sales reps) and they have you down on the list (or at least they said that some guy in Iraq called for a pair, so I assume that was you). The list needs to get to 20-25 to make it worth their while. I think and they think they will get there, but thay are not their yet. It is just a matter of time (according to the sales rep I've been in contact with). Hang tight Mr. Banks!

Thanks,
Brad
