Adding Yakima or Thule Roof bike Rack

Looking for assistance, I want to add duel bike rack system to the factory roof rack on my 2003 4runner, however looking at the roof rack i notice the cross bars are rather wide, has anyone added a yakima or thule bike rack to their factory roof rack?? If so I'm looking for one that the front wheel doesn't have to be removed like the yakima king cobra... Thanks

i've posted a couple of times about the differences between yak and thule (search for more details). the bottom line is that i like yak better.

be careful with the kind of bike mount where you don't need to take the wheel off. the clamp that holds the bike clamps to a section of the frame that generally isn't designed to take the kind of stresses that a clamp will be applying. i'm not saying that anything would break (or they wouldn't make those kinds of mounts), but you may weaken things. it's probably better to clamp with the fork, that's meant to take abuse.

Thanks for the thread link and yes it does look good.. Did yours come with mountain bike racks for roof mounting???.. That's actually what I'm looking for.. I have two bikes that i use and would like to just be able to pop them on the roof in a very secure system and take off...
