Falken Tires...your thoughts...

Hey folks. I bought my 4Runner a few months ago with the Falken Ziex tires installed and was curious what other owners of them thought (w/o adding my bias...) Thanks.

The most important question is do you like them? I have used them on a couple of vehicles years ago. They seem to work well enough, they were very easy to balance and overall a good value. Having said that I have little exposure to them on truck/SUV applications. IIRC they make low profile, street oriented tires more than A/T's/snow tires. IIRC they have an uncanny resemblence to certain models of Yokohoma's. With the Metro Atlanta highway driving and the rain they may be a great choice.

If they're on there and doing well for you just enjoy them

I agree w/ CJ3Flyr ...if they work for you, run them.

I use to work at Wheel Works & Falken to me suck.

This is based on actually first hand test.

• Falken 512 - sucks, wears out fast
• Falken 502 - sucks, wears out fast
• Falken 451/541 forgot - sucks, wears out fast
• Falken GRB - nice & sticky, but could be sticker
• Falken Azenis - very sticky, I like, inexpensive, wears out fast, but what do you expect.
• Falken (forgot what my dad had...it came w/ his new car cuz he got rims installed) - sucks, wears out fast

For me...I wouldn't get them, but for my brother & my dad, I WOULD do it again, if they were super cheap.
