Old thread, but in case anybody wanted to see how my new 255/75/17 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs look on basically a stock suspension. I have FJ coils in the front which level things out with the Shrockworks bumper. I think i get away with this a little easier than if you had stock front bumper. No rubbing at all front or rear, fully turned, articulating, or anything else so far.

Can someone with 255s measure, as much as possible, the actual tread width of the tire? Published specs include section width, but I am interested in tread width.

My 265 Wildpeaks are about 9-9.25" tread width (10.6 on 7.5 section width).
