Factory Subwoofer replacement

Has anyone used the Pioneer shallow mount sub? - Amazon.com: Pioneer TS-SW841D 8 In. Shallow-Mount Subwoofer with 500 Watts Max. Power: Electronics

Does anyone know if it will fit in the factory box that came with the 10 speaker JBL Synthesis system?

What is the size of that factory box in cubic feet?

Any recommendations on which sub to use?

While I'm at it, what have you guys replaced the other 9 speakers with?

I am interested as well...does anyone think this could be a simple swap with the factory JBL sub?

See link in my sig where it lists my JL sub. I included plenty of details in my write-up, and anything else you need just ask (may try PM in case I don't see it here). You can do what you're wanting, but no sub will sound very good with the power the stock amp puts out. With that Pioneer, you'd be pushing 45 watts at best to it. With that sub, you'd need 250 watts, big difference. I chose to do a new amp and sub, pretty easy install, and excellent sound. As said, check out my write-up (link in sig) and let me know of any questions you have.
