Question for those with a cold air intake (K&N specifically)?

Ok, this may be a stupid question but I'll go ahead and ask.

I just got a K&N CAI for my 07 T4R, with help from a friend we installed it earlier today.

But, is it normal to hear air seeping / air leak once your foot is on the gas?

My buddy and I were a little confused wondering if this was normal.

Kinda been buggin me the whole day, help me out guys!

I would say no it is not normal. I havent noticed any air seeping noise the only noise I hear is "normal" amplified engine noise. V6 or V8?

Totally normal. If it is an open filter (you can see the cone shaped filter). I had the same system but re installed the oem Toyota one) it is normal and very cool sounding.

You will also hear a loud "drone" when accelerating hard up to highway speeds.

Yeah I hear the amplified sound, and I'll admit the sound is amazing.

But there is also a secondary sound like air is seeping out or isn't sealed properly.

I know!

Yes you can hear the engine more but ALSO the sound of the air. I am trying to think of the best way to explain it. Because air can't be seeping out, only in. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but this sound is totally normal.

Actually here is a clip of the sound I am talking about.

YouTube - Civic Si AEM Cold Air Intake sound clip

Here's another one:
