Restoring my 3rd Gen 4Runner

Restoring my 3rd Gen 4Runner

After doing a complete suspension/brake restoration I purchased a complete rebuilt long block engine from Yota1 and a rebuilt automatic trans from XP. I spent a couple months researching/purchasing every engine part needed for the restoration. After 7 weeks waiting I called Yota1 to confirm delivery date. They said it was delayed and would ship 2 days late. They didn’t bother to tell me in advance. Then when it arrived I was missing the fuel injectors. I called and they said sorry, they were unable to locate them. Again, they didn’t bother to tell me! My advice if you are considering doing a major restoration like I am is to NOT trust any supplier’s word. They are quick to take your money and piss poor at customer service and communicating. DO NOT schedule time with your mechanic until ALL parts have arrived.
