Sub questions

Hi there! I drive a 3rd gen 4runner and am looking into getting a sub for it but I have little to no knowledge of vehicles and audio. I'm not looking for anything too crazy probably an 8 or 10 inch - not looking to spend a lot of money here. I was just wondering if say I bought a powered sub would I need an amp or is it possible to hook it up right to my deck? I'm looking to isntall this myself and was also curious to where/how you put these things in 4runners, right behind the back seat? Or would something like Bazooka BTA10250D be a good choice for me?

Welcom to T4!

Lots of good information here, try doing a search on this topic. This has been covered several times. With a little research you can find answers.
