Lightbulb Kenwood Keg -replace hard drive in cartridge?

Hmmm..
I want the Kenwood Keg to go with my Kenwood Head unit.
I have about 120gigs worth of MP3's, but I don't want to pay the rediculously high price for a couple of Phatnoise 80gig cartridges for the keg...

Has anyone opened up one of those cartridges and looked to see if it is a standard laptop hard disk drive in there, with standard connector?

If so... it would seem to be pretty easy to remove the cheap 10gig one with an 80, even 100+gig HDD from a laptop for MUCH LESS $$ than Phatnoise charges for their 80gig one. The only snag might be a bootup program in the original HDD, but I would think even that could be copied from the original cartridge HDD to my PC and then ultimately back into the cartridge onto the new HDD.

Any thoughts??? (I'm going to try that in the near future anyway, but I was wondering if anyone has done this before, so that if it there is no way to make this work, I'll find out ahead of time and I won't waste my time)

No info on the web about this either....

It is probally something like the Sony PS2 harddrive. All the same connectors but only the PS2 harddrive was formatted to work. Could not hook a standard HDD up to it.
