2 Javelin:
There are good news and bad news. Good one is that I received the unit today morning. Bad news - I was running it for 40 min (4WD) while driving to work and had no issues at all.
I found an issue with 2WD, actually. It does not work if you just switch it on in 2WD (It lights VSC OFF LED and that is it). To make it work one should go to 4WD -> switch VSC OFF -> go to 2WD back. Probably, it might make ECU mad if you just switch vsc off in 2WD. Anyway, I failed to reproduce the same usecase as you got.
If that is not an issue of "zero point" lose or some similar stuff -I have no ideas for now. I will continue running the unit you shipped back.

Thats Strange
I thought the whole point of the unit was to be able to turn traction off in 2wd without switching back and forth.

Originally the main purpose was to make vsc off work without misleading center diff lock light. If you bought the unit mainly for 2wd usage I can take it back and refund the costs.

Is there a way to Permanently disable VSC without the light coming on.
Or permanently disabling VSC then disconnecting the light?
I really don't need it. Its more of a hindrance than anything else.
Is there a wire I can cut or a fuse I can pull? I dont care if it goes away forever. In fact I would prefer it.

My device works fine in any mode... 2HI, 4HI, and 4LO, but I did notice that the 4Runner doesn't like to switch between modes with the device activated. I just switch it off to change modes, if I need to.

let me know when you're back and producing again, I'd love to get this! My understanding is its $60 + shipping + Western Union fees?
I've been wanting to do the VSC off mod for a while but wanted a cleaner way without switching all around and this is it!
Thanks!

2 jpless:
I will be able to ship one item on Monday-Tuesday.
As for price, you are quite right. It is 85$ CIF for PayPal or 70$+15$(WU fee at your end) in case of Western Union transfer.

The answer is in the unit temperature - when it is getting warmer it starts working in a wrong way. We had winter here - that is why I way unable to reproduce it earlier.
Looking for bad guy and solution for it. There are several thoughts. It might be easy to fix without shipping it back. Will keep you posted.

Looks like we found the problem. ALL new units are affected. Long story short: we tried to make it better but as it usually happens made it worse. Thank you for pointing that out and for your patience in describing wrong behaviour. We fixed two units and I've been testing these in different modes (and temperatures )
I will let you know when I'll be confident in quality enough.
To 7 lucky guys who have new units :
If you know how to remove one redundant component from the board (or know smbd who know that) - it will take you 2 min to fix the unit. I will provide description when it is tested.
If not, please send the unit back( just unit). I ll take costs and will ship you new unit. Unfortunately, it will take 1 month+ to have new unit in US.
I am really sorry, but it is as it is.
