Guys, there were a lot of questions regarding updated install instructions. Something went wrong with Google docs and it did not share 4.2 version. I put 4.3 which contains the changes regarding new fixed units. The only change is the orientation of Yellow and Orange wires. Orange one should go to the connector when yellow one should go to the bundle. Otherwise Central diff lock LED will not switch off when VSC is OFF.

Here is the link for the updated instructions:
Install Instructions_4.3 - Google Docs

finally got around to installing the vsc module i received from Kliv. Followed the instructions provided by his install link. No issues with the install and it works as it's suppose to. only light that comes on when the button is pressed is the "VSC OFF" light, press the momentary switch one more time and the "VSC OFF" light turns off and the Vehicle skid Control system is reactivated. Thanks again Kliv!

Question about mod

So I fi ally got around to doing the mod and I finished it but it appears that my abs light turn on when I press the switch and the vsc doesn't seem to be turning off. I noticed that a couple of the wires were in different locations than in the directions so I was wondering if someone could help me troubleshoot this.

Thanks

You have an '05 v8, right? Curious to hear if this works for you as expected.

Is this thread dead? I really need some help. If it helps at all my 4wd also stopped working and I think the actuator might be jammed from possibly landing on a rock in my backyard. That or wiring.

This is not related to this thread and should be posted in the general 4th Gen Forum for advice.

Sounds like if you landed on something hard enough you could have damaged the actuator in the t-case. Post up like I said in the other forum. Try to get underneath and inspect, take some photos, etc. for others to visually inspect and advise on.

Well I was mainly saying that I have posted three times and no one has tried to help. I thought that maybe the 4wd thing was related to my wiring and that it could help troubleshoot it but I couldn't narrow it down because I did hit a rock as well on something.

Thanks

Turns out it was the wiring. The 4wd ecu has a red/blue wire and a blue/red wire and I chose the wrong one. This fixed the 4wd issue but my mod still isn't quite working. I think it's my wiring to the center diff lock switch.

Fixed everything I found wrong and still doesn't work.

I double checked my diff lock wires, my vsc off switch wires, and all other connections. When the 4wd ecu wire is attached, the 4wd actuator goes limp and wont let me shift to 4wd or anything. When I attach it to the other blue/red wire on the 4wd everything works fine but the vsc off switch just lights up the abs light and doesn't disable traction control.
Any help?
Thanks
