Does anyone know where to buy a traction bar bracket?

Mine rusted off and instead of trying to clean it up and weld it back on I would like to find one in better shape.

Not sure what the arm is actually called that is connected to the bracket. It is a radius rod on my Nissan Pathfinder but I think it's a traction arm on the 4runner.

Need a third generation one for the drivers side (not sure if they are different).

Thanks,
Jared

Are you talking about the Sway Bar? Toyota actually calls it the stabilizer bar. Look here.. it's about $9

Not quite

I wish it were that easy. I am talking about the bracket for the traction arm. See picture...

I am hoping that there is an after market bracket or something available. I searched the forums, oh-mighty Google, and asked around but couldn't find anything.

It looks "narly" but there is plenty of frame to weld to above the disintegrated parts. Been down this road before... I just have to remove the gas tank this time.

I think that's a control arm bracket.

Either way there's not going to be an aftermarket replacement mount, and probably not an OEM one.

Holy crap! That's a lot of rust! Your best bet is to make one yourself, or have someone make it for you, or try to find a frame at a junk yard that you could cut one off of. What year of 4runner is that?

He said it's a 3rd gen, that's 96-02.

It is a 1997. I already patched another portion of frame near the middle of the vehicle. The rest of the 4runner is in great shape!
