That's SWEET!!! I've been thinking Toyota should make the FJ Cruiser convertable or with a removable top like the classic FJ's. If Toyota does come out with one I'll probably buy it!!!

it does have a roll cage... look at the pics in the link.... might need to be fabed differently but its a good star.... i would want one if it wasnt automatic... make it like the wranglers and also make a hard top convertible. give ppl that are wanting a wrangler over a fj cause the convertible come to the good side and get the fj instead nothing against wranglers ( i would drive one especially an unlimited)

Hi,Roof designs vary widely, but a few characteristics are common to all convertibles. Roofs are affixed to the body of the vehicle and are usually not detachable. Instead the roof is hinged and folds away, either into a recess behind the rear seats or into the boot or trunk of the vehicle.

They are actually stopping production after the 2014 model year.
