Audi A6 D2S Projectors, great for retrofits

These things are pristine, got them to do a retrofit, but ended up using different projectors. These are great for a retrofit, and are OEM equipment. Asking $100 shipped, feel free to ask questions, I've posted some cutoff pics as well.

On a 97 how much modification? Can two teenagers handle it. Semi-smart teenagers I mean.

It does not seem all that hard, I heard in a nutshell you need to remove the headlights from the car, open the headlights and remove the reflector, make a jig to hold the reflector completely still, mark the cutoff of the halogen bulbs on the wall, cut a hole for the projectors and secure them so they are aimed to that same line. Sounds like nothing I cant handle. I'm almost tempted to buy these just show you.

how far would these projectors protrude from the rear of the oem headlight assembly, i.e. would there be any interference fit with regard to the battery on the driver side or the air box on the passenger side?

In a nutshell, that is what you do.

Could you do it? Sure!

However, don't think of it as a simple task. There is a reason people pay other people hundreds and hundreds of dollars to do this. This is the same reason people who do these, and sell them, ask hundreds and hundreds of dollars.

Bump for your thread, good luck with the sale!
