Looking to sell my great condition ~1.5 year old Treeline Outdoors Tamarack. It's had minimal use over the past year and a half (~10-14 nights of use) and I absolutely love it, but a recent trip with a friend has made me jealous of his hardshell so I'm looking to make the switch.
The Tamarack is Treeline's 2-3 person sized tent with a mattress coming in at 55" wide and 97" long. Treeline makes some of the most well thought out soft shell tents on the market with features you don't often see on others and certainly not all on the same tent. They were the first to do the oversized half moon windows for a huge viewing area when inside the tent. The vestibule pole is hinged to allow for exceptionally easy setup and take down. There are large skylights in the roof as well as one in the vestibule to allow for lots of natural light when the annex is setup as well as a 360 degree viewing area when inside the tent. When open, the underside has heavy duty latches for storage of large items such as fishing poles, axes and shovels, etc as well as a mesh gear loft for storage of lighter items.
When I bought this tent last May, Treeline did not yet have their US vendor (Wanderhouse Outdoors). As such I paid hefty shipping and duties fees to import it here. I realize I'll never recoup that cost, but even still, buying this tent new from Wanderhouse would cost something around $3500 shipped to your door.
Included in this sale is:
-Treeline Outdoors Tamarack - Buckhorn body color/spruce rainfly (Retail: $2650)
-Treeline Outdoors Tamarack Annex - Spruce color (Retail: $485)
-Treeline Outdoors Backroad Pantry - Spruce color (Retail $68)
-Treeline Telescopic Ladder (Retail $230)
Things to note:
-The bottom of the tent does have some scrapes and dings from getting it off and on the roof rack a handful of times over the past year. It is cosmetic and does not impact function at all.
-The mesh gear loft under the tent has a hole rubbed in it from the telescopic ladder (not an issue with the standard). I reached out to Treeline and they sent me a courtesy warranty replacement gear loft that is included so you will have a brand new one.
-The telescopic ladder has a kink when someone who wasn't as familiar with the tent helped me set it up. It gets a little stuck on one rung, but functions without using that one and will collapse small enough to pack so I haven't bothered to take it apart to fix it yet.
These are truly unique soft shell RTT's and I have yet to see another one on the trail. For more info about the specific details of the tent you can check them out either on Treeline Outdoors or Wanderhouse Outdoors website. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any further questions
