SOLD: Eezi-Awn XCLUSIV 1600 RTT (with Annex) Los Angeles $1575 off MSRP

Hey, friends...

Going a different direction with my setup as I jump into an LR4 and don't want an RTT over my 3 moonroofs.

These tents need no introduction on this site, but if you want all the specs, here's what Paul at Equipt posted on their site:

XKLUSIV Features

Ladder Extension Integrated into Ladder
In-Tent Vehicle Access
Ground Level Sleeping Room for Two
Integrated Door & Window
Storage Bag for Walls & Ground Cover
4 Large Doors & Windows with Mesh & Privacy Panels
2 Large Window Shades
4 Pockets Under Windows
2.5" Thick Hi-Density Foam Mattress Covered in African-Printed Fabric
Unique Internal Bungee System to Assist with Storing Tent
Ratchet Strap Incorporated into Cover
Universal Mounting Construction
Optional Ladder Extension
Optional Bull Bar Mounts

XKLUSIV Construction

Patented Anodized Aluminum Extension Ladder
Nylon Reinforced Clips
YYK© Zippers
Add-On-Room : 260 gram Poly-Cotton Ripstop Coated with Teflon
Anodized Aluminum "U" Shaped Roofline Extension Frame
Poly-Cotton Canvas Roofline Extension & Room Walls
Heavy-Duty Open Weave Plastic Ground Cover

XCLUSIV 1600 Dimenions

Open : 96" L x 63" W x 51" H | 2440mm L x 1600mm W x 1300mm H
Closed : 48" L x 63" W x 11" H | 1220mm L x 1600mm W x 280mm H
Add-On Room : 78" L x 71" W x 78" H | 2000mm L x 1600mm W x 2000mm H

I have logged a total of 30 nights in it over the last 3 years.

Annex has only been out of its heavy duty canvas bag twice during that time.

It is in excellent condition.

As you know, you can't get better than this in a soft-shell RTT. Had a night in Alabama Hills where a significant wind event ripped through and the next morning, across all the other sites there was carnage everywhere. Ground tents, pop-up tents, awnings, and even one cheaper RTT were destroyed. The Eezi-Awn didn't just survive flawlessly, we actually slept well!

MSRP is $3775 before tax and shipping.

Asking $2200.

Cheers!

damn, was about to claim it.
Hey @surf.runner just curious if in your researches you learned of any other brands that work with the Eezi Awn Rack. I am sure an adapter can be utilized or made but i am about to dive in to this portion of my build.

Thanks.

Yo! It’s remarkable how many mounting options there are across the spectrum of tents and racks.

After all my research, and as you do yours, my recommendation is to land on the type of tent you want for your preferred application and then figure out mounting to Eezi Awn K9 rack after.

For example, do you plan on keeping tent mounted year round or do you envision removing tent between trips?

The answer to this vastly changes the type of tent (and mounting system) you’ll ultimately love.

If it’s year round, a heavier duty (and heavy tent) like an Eezi-Awn, 23Zero, etc. would be a great option. Any of those could easily be mounted to a K9 rack

If it’s coming off and on, I would recommend something much lighter. (mine is 200lb so it was a PITA to get a friend or neighbor to help me move it off and on...so it ended up being on year round)

I mounted mine with carriage bolts and metal plates that “sandwiched” the rack.

Even better would be a mounting option like this: ROOF TOP TENT BRACKETS

Let me know if you have any more questions!

That is really helpful. Thank you.
The tent will have to come off in between trips.
I love my eezi awn rack but have been afraid that come tents that i want wont work well or safely with the rack.

thanks again!!
