5th GEN 2013 Trail stock suspension (front and rear) system - $1300, Alexandria, VA
***EDIT: Willing to negotiate price to the right buyer! Feel free to message me. I will edit this post when they're sold.
My husband is a diehard 4Runner owner, and has been for many years. (He had a solid '99 that recently was traded in for a 2013 Trail).
I've been put in charge of selling his 2013 stock suspension system.
Details:
- 5th Generation TOKICO; front and rear
- From 2013 Trail 4Runner purchased in Jan 2013 --- traded out for an ICON lift/suspension in April 2013 to better serve the rocks of beautiful Moab.
Asking $1300 for the entire system.
We'd prefer to sell it all at once, but would consider separating it. Prices for splitting into individual pairs of units TBD.
Available for local pick up, in Virginia/DC/Maryland area, or can be shipped based on buyer location.
Please let me know if interested and I will do my best to answer your questions in a timely manner. If at all possible, I'd like to get rid of them this week.
Thanks!

Just an FYI...you will never get close to $1300 for this stuff, at least not on this forum. You will be lucky to recoup $300-$500 for everything....If anything at all. It's a crap shoot as far as what someone is willing to pay on any given day...but myself along with a lot of other people on here have tried to sell our stock suspension components after upgrading and can't even give the stuff away, as most on the forum are looking for upgrades. No harm meant...just being realistic.

Thanks FatTiresRollin, I appreciate you taking time to offer up some expert 4Runner advice.
Maybe I'll just look to sell it to a mechanic in the area instead?

That may work. The reality is that you will most likely have to sell everything piece by piece and it will take a while. Unfortunately, the market for stock suspension components is pretty small, even if you swap out the components before you drive off the lot. Chances are you will possibly sell to someone who wants to convert a modded rig back to stock, or maybe to some random ebay buyer who has gotten their stock truck in a car accident and is not looking to mod/upgrade and is probably not a member of this forum.
I have listed my stock shocks and UCAs on ebay several times and have not received the first bid. I actually haven't had the first person even watch my auction. I started an auction for both front shocks for $40 total, both back shocks for $40 and $80 for the UCAs....all with free shipping.
Hopefully you have better luck than me...good luck!

In all honesty this is solid advice. You might have some better luck doing a trade for something or find another 5th Gen owner that wants to upgrade to the TE stuff that has a SR5. Also just having extra parts if you break something is nice.
Like I said I would go for a trade route before selling it. Might get something cool out of it.

I agree, tops you will get for everything is $300.
I have an entire set with UCA's in storage as well. I do not even bother listing it. Lets be real here, who needs a stock oem Toyota UCA?? No body.
Better keep this stuff for whenever you decide to sell your vehicle you can put these parts back on. After market suspension systems sell quickly.

Stock suspension
I am looking to get my hands on TE stock suspension parts. (Take offs)
Knowing there is significantly less value, as we are all aware, I still want to purchase.
I recently purchased my 2013 TE and on my 1st time out noticed a significant droop to the passenger side while maneuvering obsticles. Not so stoked. I am a Toyota fan through and through but this has been very disappointing. As a young offroader I just "upgraded" from an '04 sport to a '13 TE. I am having 2nd thoughts as my '04 was a great vehicle.
Obviously I want to get upgraded suspension but right now with this new purchase I cant afford. Just looking for properly functioning stock suspension.
If anyone has this for sale for a reasonable take off price please let me know, I am interested in seeing my TE perform as it was designed. So far a bit let down.
Thanks.
