EDIT - I see a photo above. Is the face of the bushing completely flat? I'd probably still just support the sleeve, to give the bushing flanges more room before they're pinched between the mount and the bar end when it twists, but if you're still on jack stands you can check the amount of squish pretty easily by pulling the shocks & springs and moving the axle through its various arcs. The WL bushing flange may have enough room with the plates your using - but you'd need to put an eyeball on it to verify.

The face of the bushing is flat and matches the width of the factory bracket.

I don't know if you covered this already but how do you normally instruct people on using the center hole since the supplied washers wouldn't fit due to the uneven surface the frame mount creates inside the passenger side bracket?

Ok great, I don't see any issue with the plate approach, then - WL clearly intends for the flanges to squish.

grind the top of the spacer flat if you're using the middle hole (simplest way). A couple of clever folks over the years have relieved the factory mount to clear the spacer though, which is pretty slick.

@ eimkeith
Are you willing to share the specs on the washers/spacers that go on the frame side?
I'd like to grab two more to experiment with the two different drop heights but have to grind them down to sit in the middle hole obviously.

sure, those are hardened steel (probably not necessary but I like overkill) M12x2.5mm. Have at it!

I just ordered a kit for my '98 and can't wait to get this thing back under control.
I think I only need to add the axle-side for my 2" lift, but I'm glad I'll have both parts
to future-proof any other suspension related foolery I convince myself to do...
Thanks a million for all your hard work!

Thanks! I got the brackets welded on this weekend and have it set to the bottom hole on the frame side right now, but I think that makes the frame side lower than the axle. I need to go measure.
But the difference in handling was immediately noticeable pulling out of the driveway. That swaying feeling from the rear and just general handling feels much better in the limited driving I've done since the install. Should have done this years ago!

I'm on about a 1.5" lift and I did both sides, set at the 3rd hole. My truck handles SOOO nice now. And the thrust angle is still in line.
Having the panhard perfectly flat or negative angle really helps the Roll Center of the truck. You will probably hit your Driveshaft on the Skid Plate though at full flex.

Sounds good to me!
I already have the "bite" taken out of my tank skid, and did drop my
bump stops about 1.5" with square tube & Daystars, so we'll see if
it gets appreciably worse...
