Some 4th gens came equipped with larger front rotors and calipers, I believe the Limiteds and Sport Editions (all have models have the same rear brakes though). These bigger front brakes came standard on Lexus GX470s,and I have tried fitting a 16" wheel on a GX in front and it wouldn't clear the caliper.

Understand that (and you are correct, sport and limited have the larger calipers), but statement was majority of 4th Gens must run 17s, which is not true. SOME 4th Gens must run 17s. Just trying to help out the SR5 4th Gens if they want these wheels.

To recap, the original statement was "you know that these DON'T fit majority of 4Runners."
Which is why I asked what's majority since they fit just fine on majority of T4R's 1st thru 4th (most of 4th gen except like you said, Sports and Limiteds). A simple acknowledgement of wrong would've suffice but resorted to name callings lol. Either way, thanks for all the bumps.
