(Utah) ARB Front Locker Package w/ Compressor and more

New RD121 - this is a new unit direct from ARB that I am not using. This was a new replacement unit for one that had an internal malfunction. Changing plans so not re-installing. I've confirmed with ARB that they will honor the warranty on the new one. It's new in a sealed ARB box and includes the parts you see in the stock image: the box includes the locker, shims, air plumbing kit, dash switch, and solenoid.

I had issues with two air lockers from ARB being noisy and I think there may be something going on with a bad CV on my end that may have been part of the issue with the bushing failure. I'm considering swapping my 4R to a LC200, so it doesn't make a ton of sense to install another ARB given the issues I've had.

Also included is a nearly new ARB compressor (the small style one), a bracket to mount in a 4Runner, and the full wiring kit, and a pair of custom CH4x4 switches for Toyota OEM dash. All wiring is sorted and had solenoids and power wire and fuse ready to go. This will make install a breeze! No planning needed. Everything is setup ready to install for a clean factory look. And the entire setup was integrated to the CH4x4 switches and Bosch style solenoid with crimped spade terminals so the ARB wire harness is unmodified if you'd prefer to use it with the ARB switches. It's entirely plug and play integration between the two.

I'll toss in a front diff housing already setup for the locker. Will still need the new locker installed and backlash set. The air supply is professionally installed in the housing. The new locker also comes with the install kit so you'll have 2.

Locker is new. Compressor was new in May. Diff is a 2015 4runner with 50k. 3.73 ratio and includes gears. Factory pinion depth set, so setup of gears is only the carrier shims required.

Located in SLC, UT. Shipping is $$$ for the diff housing. So I'd prefer local pickup, but may consider shipping the ARB and compressor together. Asking $800 for the complete setup locally.

If only it was an RD111 and not a RD121... RD111 can gear 3.91 & UP

RD121 is what you want if you're going to 4.56. Most carriers are 3.73, as a result most 4.56 gear sets are for the standard 3.73 and down carrier. Usually they list as "thick" gears. In fact... I also happen to have a set of 4.56 gears and a spare diff with those setup for the ARB I'd part with. That's how I originally set this up. Didn't love the gearing for my use so I bought another front diff and set it up as 3.73. So I have both - both are sitting on my bench. I swapped back in an OEM 3.73 front diff.

I could build either diff pretty easily, but I figured a buyer would prefer to have their own shop or DIY do the setup so they can confirm everything is in order. The clamshell diffs are basically a black box type situation once they're setup. You can't really verify the setup once assembled. The only things you can measure from the outside are the backlash and pre-load. You can't meaningfully see a gear pattern. The rear is very easy to check visually. And I wouldn't wan't anyone to think I had just re-packaged up the faulty ARB, so selling the new one in the box seemed like the cleanest way to go. I have to mail the other one back to ARB anyway, so it's not like I realistically could re-sell it, but as a buy that's what I'd feel most comfortable with.

And - for... let's say $850, I also have a rear e-locker 4.56 diff I'd sell too. Both gear sets are Circle K (I believe all 4.56 gear sets are circle K regardless of what brand is on the box). No core - so it's really a pretty killer deal. Not sure I really want to sell the 4.56 diffs, but I should. I'm probably not going back to 4.56.
