Custom roof racks, safari racks
Made of 1" and 3/4" STEEL tubing, fully welded, one solid piece. These are extremely sturdy and measure 40"x50". I have measurements to bolt it directly to a 3rd gen, others may have to attach to factory cross bars. Powder coating is optional, as are light tabs, axe/shovel mounts and bolt on or permanently mounted tire carriers. I am trying to build a few of these on the side while my wife is in school, so if you need a nice, solid rack, drop me a line.
Basic rack, bare finish and no tabs or mounts is 225, thanks all!

that shouldnt be a problem, just need some measurements. here is a picture of blee1's truck with one mounted to the factory tracks. the only thing to worry about here is the crown of the roof, outside of that it can be as low as you want.

i've trying to find a cage for my lights. it would mount to the front of a yakima load warrior and protect my 4 hella 500's something like this.
i guess i'd like it to be just as wide as the yak rack. you get the idea. what kind of $ would we be talking about?

maybe $75, just have to work out bending that tight of a radius if you wanted the corners to look like commercial products. also, how would it mount to your rack? would you have someone weld it up there? it would take some good measuring but i may could devise a bolt-on method...

WOW, these look great! I really want to get one that sits as low as possible so something that could utilize the existing channel would be awesome. I'm not quite ready for one but should be in the next few months. I'll check back to see if you're still doing them.
Trying to keep my rig under 6'10" or even 6'8" if possible (to fit into parking garages).

the lights themselves are roughly 6 inches in diameter. as far as connecting it to the rack i have a buddy with a welder but we have no tube bender, ya know? if you finished front of the cage and sent another pair of two foot sections of tube along with it, i could cut the pieces that run from the cage to the rack.

I can't tell from the picture above.. Can you make these to mount directly to the factory channels? I can't tell if the one above is mounted to them, or simply sitting on top of the oem crossbars.
I'm looking for an affordable rack that will sit close to the roof line. Sitting it on top of the cross bars isn't my thing.
