The was cut because the sensor end doesn't fit through the firewall. You don't need anything new, just solder or twist the cuts pieces together after install.

I am intrested if it is still available. I tried to buy one of the map light lenses but was told I need the whole unit.

How do you take payment? paypal? and should I send a shipping label or will I just add the shipping to the cost and send to you?
