So if I were to get 5) the mount to work with shrockworks water reservoir, will this all work on a 4th gen (06 V8). Does the shrockworks water reservoir bolt up to your mount?

Thanks Leroy. Replied to your PM. Good to go on a #2 ARB tank mount + ARB manifold.

Unfortunately, the 4th gen has very limited height, and even a 1 gallon tank cannot fit under the compressor like with the 5th gen. options...

The ARB manifold with the compressor is the only combination on the 4th gen. I have done... sooo, no shrockworks integration on the 4th gen.... sorry sir...

Unfortunately I cannot view half the pics in this thread. I have a 5th gen. That said I want to have an aux fuse block on the passenger side along with the dual ARB compressor. I will have the Shrockworks dual battery solution so the air pump will be under the compressor. Is there a way (or room) to add on a location on your compressor mount to have a 12 circuit Blue Sea aux fuse block on the passenger side? Or is there another solution? Thanks!

...and sorry if one of the pics you have posted answers this for me. I can't see them

Nope, no pictures of the combo you are asking about...

Is your intent to get the shrockworks battery setup and shrockworks smog pump relocation, or just the shrockworks battery setup and use my smog pump relocation bracket?

I can make a custom mount setup to incorporate the ARB twin and a bluesea fuse block if that's what you require.. I would just need to bluesea spec/dimensions (if you mail it to me, it' makes things 10 times easier to fit, unless you get me the spec sheet showing bolt pattern and dimensions).

Wanted to post another successful BANDI onboard air install:

My install steps:
  • Install dual AC on BANDI mount
  • Install Viair manifold on BANDI mount
  • Install air lines to AC, manifold, air tank. Pressure test. Disconnect air tank from AC
  • With AC and manifold installed on BANDI mount, install in engine bay. Note air tank is NOT installed yet. I removed engine air filter for easier access.
  • Locate air tank below AC and secure to BANDI mount. Reattach air lines.
  • Pressure test, reinstall engine air filter

I initially tried to put everything together on a bench then install in the engine bay. No can do. There's one bolt that secures the mount to the passenger engine bay wall that is REALLY tough to get to with the air tank in the way. It needs to go in piecemeal (which I think another installer mentioned in this thread, but I was too hardheaded to initially follow that advice).

Leroy (BANDI)'s equipment / material is great. Solid and well painted. He included a really helpful hand drawn sketch of how everything went together. Would buy again!

Quick question though. I am starting out with my air compressor and might do a dual battery system in the future with a shrockworks setup. I am assuming I should order the version that allows the use of the shrockworks smog relocation kit now and simply not relocate the smog pump until I go with my dual battery setup right? The function of the mount should be the same whether I use the shrockworks smog relocation now or later right?

Thanks!

Hey Kray',You are correct... You can get the #3 (comes with a smog pump relocation bracket and you provide smog pmp connection hardware, 2 hose clamps, 24" of 3/4" hose, and straight adapter) or #4 (which will work with the shrockworks smog pump bracket or be installed without it).

Hi Leroy,

I'm keen on getting a number #4 but I have a question.

Can I use this without installing my shockworks smog relocation kit first? I'm just holding off on installing my dual battery setup for a while but I want to relocate my compressor from the drivers to the passenger side as soon as.

Cheers

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to post up and let you all know I am still around even though I have not been active or responsive to your inquires.

My last few weeks I have spent in Sumpter, SC with my daughter who is on life support with a mass infection which has damaged her heart and longs which lead to kidney failure and is being kept in a medically induced coma. The doctors are doing all they can, but say her only real hope is her age (33). She is hanging on and we are hopeful and pray that she can turn this around. Keep her in you prayers.

I will do what I can to get caught up on the orders, and I have also enlisted the help of a local machine shop to pre-cut materials to my spec' (however these are a few weeks out) so my build time will be lessened.

Thank You for your Patients.

UPDATE....

We have been down in SC most of this time... We were back home for a few days last week when we received a call that our daughter was not expected to survive and we need to get there as ASAP...

So we drove overnight and by the time we arrived 11 hours later, she had come out of the coma and pulled all her tubes and connections out and was breathing on her own, but was unable to move on her own or communicate... A day later, she was talking faintly, day three got up and sat in a chair, day four she walked hospital floor hallways we a break or two...

Her oxygenation levels are at ninety seven percent, her blood pressure is still up some but getting better, and kidneys are not working much yet but now are showing signs of improvement... The doc's saying the charting over the last month on her don't in anyway match the girl they are seeing now, a complete turn around...

She has another month or so in the hospital down south... We continue to pray for a complete recovery !...

I know I am way wayyyyy wayyyyyy behind right now, but I will do what I can...
