OP -- can the '06 grill fit into an '04? I would love to try my hand at a custom grill (and am not too far away) but would like to be sure it'll fit my '04 sport v8.

@cajone5 , it fits, but not an exact fit. This is actually the route I was going as well, as my older 4Runner was an '05. Here's a link (below) where the mod was done converting the '06 to an '03 ('03-'05 had same grille, whereas the '06-'09 had a slightly different grille).

The '06-'09 grille was aparently easier to work with as it was a bit thicker than the prior years' version, hence the retrofit. Since you're in Austin, shipping won't be much at all- hell, I'd sell & ship it to you for the $75 I'm asking.

About the radio: Your description says that it is an mp3 player... does it have a rear auxiliary port?
