Since I've long had my exhaust trimmed, I'm not sure how they fit on a stock 4th gen though from pictures I would imagine it wouldn't work at all.
5th gens might be different, but from pictures it looks like the recovery point would at the very least be right next to the exhaust, which means toasted recovery gear.
You could of course buy just one recovery point and use it on the driver's side. Or buy two and if it doesn't work out sell it to a wheeling buddy.
