SOLD!!
Want a stronger rear axle housing with out all the work of building it? Want more ground clearance? Well, here is your answer! I built this housing to bolt into a 3rd Gen 4Runner, I have hours and hours of fabrication work not to mention the tabs and gussets. The only reason I’m selling it because I’m changing the rear suspension (double triangulated 4 link) and I couldn’t bear with chopping it all apart and starting over when it will bolt right into someones rig. I was going to sell it to a friend but he sold his rig, so now it’s up for sale. It retains the stock geometry besides for the lower shock mounts that have been moved up for more ground clearance.
Now for the details, first it’s an E-locker housing. Second, I used a FROR full float kit but you can use stock axles and brakes, they will bolt right up. Or you can upgrade to stock style chromoly axle shafts with the stock style bearings and brakes. Again, this is just an axle housing so you will will have to re-use or source your own diff, axles and brake parts.
More details can be found starting here in my old build thread.

ROCK ASSAULT TACOMA REAR AXLE HOUSING
I’m looking to get $800 for the housing, and that includes the HD adjustable panhard bar with newer heim joints that match the brackets on the axle, and a frame side adjustable panhard bracket. Local pick up in Colorado only, this thing is heavy and awkward so I have no desire to try and ship it.
