I am selling my recently purchased and assembled off-road rear bumper from Coastal Offroad. My welder was not able to have it on the vehicle when he assembled it so it is more than a little "off" as you can see in the pictures. Live and learn! HOWEVER, it is 80% there but I have paid my welder enough already so now I am just trying to recoup my losses. I am about $1200 in on this deal so my loss is actually your gain in this case ($633 for bumper and receiver, $139 shipping, $420 for welding). If you or a friend knows how to weld this is a cheap way to get an offroad bumper with a discount AND no shipping. Here are the issues for this project:
1) It is far too wide and needs to be narrowed, either in the center or at the outer edges where it should be closer to the rear quarter panels. I thought about just taking about 3 inches from the center of the bumper and seeing if that gets closer but I cant afford any more welding work at this point.
2) The area near the hitch should be reinforced maybe with some rebar or steel dowel rods. It is fine as-is but I would want it stronger in case i want to jump down hard on it or something.
3) Once on the vehicle, I would consider adding some sheetmetal for cosmetics more than anything since we had to make some cuts to get it to fit over the cross member and receiver (Coastal builds these assuming you remove the factory receiver but I wanted to keep mine)
The optional Coastal Offroad receiver kit is included as well and it is untouched/never mounted.
I also have the option for a discount on a brand new bumper from Coastal if anyone is interested in helping with that!
Please hit me up with questions! Open to offers.
