SOLD 96-2002 3rd Gen 4Runner Bi-Xenon HID Projector Retrofitted Headlights.
This kit is for left hand drive vehicles.
This is not your typical plug-n-play HID kit. These headlights have been retrofit with real Bi-Xenon projectors inside the headlight assemblies, similar to those found in vehicles like BMW. The low beams have a sharp cutoff while the High beams are controlled by a solenoid opening a shutter. No blinding oncoming traffic on low beam since this is a proper retrofit with an excellent cutoff light pattern. The output is extremely bright, very wide, and bright white (not bluish). They make the output of the stock headlights seem like candles. The glass lenses are in excellent condition with no pitting or scratches.
I used them in my 96 4Runner for less than a year before I sold it. I pulled them out and put in the stock headlights before putting up for sale. OMG, the stock headlights are weak...

The blue high beam indicator instrument cluster light does not illuminate. I believe a resistor needs to be added to turn on the blue high beam dash light since the relays are very low current. Since the high beams are so bright, you really know they are on so it was not a big deal for me so I never bother to get the blue high beam dash light working. If you really want the high beam indicator instrument cluster light to work, you'll need to add a resistor. Since I don't have the vehicle any longer, I don't want to install the resistor since I don't have anyway to test that it works properly. To be clear, the low and high beams function 100% correctly with the exception of the blue high beam light on the dash does not illuminate, but I wanted the buyer to be aware.
