2010+ Toyota 4Runner and 2010-2014 FJ Cruiser (new in box, never installed) - $5500

Why am I selling?: I purchased the SC Dec. 2020 to make my ‘16 Trail more awesome than it already is and gain some HP while towing. I have a young family and work has been hectic. I planned on installing the SC when I received it mid Feb, March passed, April next, May....Is it June yet? For those of you with kids, work, wife, dog, you know the drill- time is limited.

After some weeks/months staring at the SC box in my office, I realized a more appropriate tow vehicle with capacity, beefed up chassis, brakes, tow features etc. is what I needed. I’m fortunate to keep my ‘16 4runner and love it, it fits many aspects of my outdoor adventures, but safe and reliable towing out west with my family is not one of the boxes the 4runner checks. My mistake is your gain if you are into performance and have done your homework on the Magnusson SC. I believe this SC probably went for well under $6K but that was 3-4 years ago when lead times were reasonable and of course pre covid...The SC has been boxed and remained in my home office till this day. You can see in the pictures it’s brand new and stayed indoors.

Will I ship?: no, sorry. I’m looking for a local buyer, easy transaction, and no BS. I’m not selling to a distributor or anyone looking to pawn off or back alley exchanges. I appreciate the 4runner community and this is for your own rig.

Why am I writing this post?: I get that this is a major purchase and think this added info will help someone who knows about SC’s.

Will I take less than $5,500?: probably not as I think there has to be a few enthusiasts out there looking to get approx $500 off of a new SC. If I’m convinced I won’t get $5,500 for some reason then I’ll cross that bridge when appropriate. Also, not looking for trades as I’ll give it a few weeks for a cash/check sale.

Programming: I don’t think you’ll have any issues getting the tuner codes. The SC shipped with all the components and the tuner you’ll need to work with Magnusson for your 4runner’s ecu during installation.

Warranty: I don’t know. I believe Magnusson will warranty for 20-30K miles after professional install if your 4runner has less than that existing mileage on the odometer. Also, I didn’t buy the SC or 4runner with warranty as a selling point so apologies to those that are passionate about warranties. If you want to do your homework by calling Magnusson please do so.
