I installed this in my 2018 4Runner Limited. Worked great for a while, then became a bit glitchy, but it may be just my troubleshooting skills. I uninstalled it and reinstalled a couple of times, trying to figure out what was wrong. Here’s my description of the system, what works and what doesn’t work.
1. I never did get the XM working, but I didn’t care much about that so I quit trying. I suspect a bad cable (that connects the maestro unit) and bought a cable kit (Maestro sTO2) that I will include that *should* solve the problem.
2. The USB connection for Carplay in my iphone started randomly disconnecting, like there was a short somewhere. Unplug the USB and plug it back in and it would work again. I don’t have the skills to troubleshoot this, so I gave up and bought a different setup which now works fine.
Everything else works fine - the screen is beautiful and makes the 4Runner dash look like something much more current than 2010.
Backup camera works automatically, never had a hiccup.
I have all the parts, the silver surround, and an extra set of the Maestro adapters (ACC-SAT-TO2).
I'd sell the whole setup for $300 if you can use it.
Here is a link to the where I bought it. They tried to help. I did buy a new system form them. These guys were great, and you can see they have a very good step by step installation video a little ways down this product page;
