When I got my '02 4Rnr a number of years back, I pulled this and installed a Scion unit from my previous truck. HU and amplifier are both factory units, and have been bubbled wrapped and stored in a box in my shop ever since. Worked fine when removed, in great condition.
TBD if there is a CD in the unit. If there is, it's a bonus and you get a glimpse into my eclectic musical taste!
