I really hate this but I need to get rid of my 4runner. We bought it off lease in 2004 with 45,000 miles on it and my wife drove it for 6 years while our kids were small. Alas, she wanted a van so I ended up driving the 4runner twice a week for the last few years. Completely stock 2000 SR5 4x4. Tires (destination A/Ts, love these tires) only have a few thousand miles on them. New starter in last 3 months. Only 125,000 miles. Not sure what to ask for it but starting at $8750.00 b/c of condition, tires, and new starter. Tell me what you think. This is its real condition in these pictures, so excuse the dirt on the floor mats :-) , it is a driven vehicle but well cared for.
Thanks. It is a nice truck. For those not interested in buying can I get some help on how to price it for sale?
New Starter
Full 30,000 mile service @ +/- 100,000 miles. They also replaced the bar in the front steering (forget what that is called) and that got rid of the steering wheel shake at interstate speedds, made it steer and handle like a dream.
Never have had an issue with coolant leaking, oil leaks, etc. Very little rust on rear hitch. The plastic peices on exterior have some fading, etc. but nothing you won't see on any T4R this age.
Starts every time and I still get over 19 mpg (checked every fill up).
4x4 is perfect. The only time this truck has been off road is through a few farm fields. No heavy mudding or stream crossing, etc.
Interior still looks good. I keep a seat cover on the front driver seat all the time so no stains or wear you normally see. All guages, lights, etc. work.
Thanks for the help and if anyone is interested please let me know. I would like someone to have this truck that wants to keep it nice or make it into a nice project.
I'm just a few miles north of you near Cincy. You're asking price is pretty accurate for the local market. I'd guess that a serious buyer with cash would offer a little less and then the rest is up to you!

Yes, but to give her credit she did drive it and love it for 6+ years... OK people. Fire sale here. Been thinking about this and I think my minimum is around $7000.00 so here is your chance before I trade it in. Let me know if you are interested and I will entertain all best offers over trade in value. Thanks for looking.
Bump with new price. This is sell time and I am dropping my price to $6500.00. Keep in mind I just spent $400.00 to have a new starter installed. A dealer offered me a deal on trade that would get me over $6000 when sales tax savings is included and I know he would list it for over $7000 on the lot because he told me that. All offers will be considered. PM me.
