Toyota 4Runner – Trail PRO x10
This 4Runner has been a show truck for Metal-tech 4x4 for the past three years. It has been displayed at number of large auto shows including SEMA in Las Vegas. Beyond being a show stopper it’s a proven off road performer tested on Colorado, California, Utah and Oregon trails. The truck has been professionally painted retro Toyota 1972 Orange, T-308 paint color. The roof, door jams and under the hood is all black for a true custom show look. The truck started out as a full 2011 Trail Edition package 4Runner.

Suspension:
With about 4inches of lift, the
Total Chaos 2” wider race proved long travel suspension up front. Custom fully boxed lower A arms and 4120 chromoly upper arms provide added travel and strength. The front suspension is controlled by custom built
Radflo 2.5” coil overs with remote reservoirs. For added control the front end also has duel secondary Radflo 2.5” remote reservoir shocks . The rear suspension has a full Metal-tech 4x4 long travel system. The rear lower links are offset of added movement. Both lower and upper links future
Currie Racing Jonny Joints for added flexibility. The rear shocks are custom built Radflo 2.5” remote reservoir and matched with Metal-tech 4x4’s expedition rear springs.
Armor:
Bud Built skid plates from the engine past the transfer case. Bud Built skids are made from laser cut 3/16” plate and are considerable thicker over the stock skids. The rear
Metal-tech 4x4 lower links are 1.75” in diameter and .298” wall thickness adding more armor to the rear of the truck. Protecting the sides of the truck are Metal-tech 4x4 sliders with a kick out protecting the rear quarter panel. All the soft brake lines have been replaced with custom built stainless steel jacketed brake lines. No spacers here!

Overall:
This truck was built to perform, but also makes a great show truck. It gets photos on the street taken of it all the time. 100% professionally built this truck is ready for expedition travel or Baja chase truck for the next big race. It has been the go to truck at our shop by all our staff since it’s so comfortable to drive and has plenty of room in it. The 35” tires are a bit big and do rub a bit when the wheel wheels at full turn. There is a small ding on the body shown in the photos. We have taken that trade knowing we have a 4Runner that can go just about anywhere. Everything from the color to the ARB air locker in the front this truck is built with the best components.
