FS: 2006 4Runner 4wd V6 33k miles harrisburg, PA
Hi
For your consideration is a 2006 4Runner 4wd v6 with only 33,000 miles! These are very hard to find with this low of mileage! We are the second owner and have had it for about a year. It is the SR5 with cloth seats. It does not have the 3rd row or a sunroof. We hate to get rid of it, but we recently got stuck with a 2013 Corolla that was my mothers vehicle and we can't afford to keep both. The Corolla is a leased vehicle which makes it very hard to get rid of until the lease is up. We are asking 21k for it. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. I will try to attach a pic.

nice looking Runner...
You are right it is hard to find a 4th gen with this low mileage buuuuut I think you'll get more interest if you're price is a bit more realistic. For 21K one can buy a 2004-2006 GX470 or LC both of which come with more interior creature comforts and a V8 (or a 2007-2009 V8 4Runner).
It's hard to justify charging a premium for low mileage because Toyota's last such a long time when well maintained.
Hypothetically speaking this vehicle was probably 30K new in 2006, 5 years later it's worth half that in retail resale, 15K, tack on another 4 years and cut that in half, 7.5K, but add in the fact its low mileage (which in my mind almost negates the extra 4 years) I'd say a fair price would be anywhere between 11-13K (depending on condition of consumables like brakes, tires, battery etc not to mention if the 4wd actuators are working and cv boots aren't leaking), and at that price I'd bet you'd sell it within a month. If someone buys this for 21K, please give me their number because I have a bunch of stuff I'd like to sell them... Good luck with the sale.

You apparently haven't looked at 4runner prices.
OP keep the price you have, someone will buy it. This guy is trying to get it for free.

NADA has thing thing around $18k for this trim and options, and condition. With that being said, I think you are at a great starting point on this. We bought our 04 SRS 4x4 v6 in 2011 with 105k miles on the clock and got it for around $13-14k. It was a Colorado truck so NO rust, which does bring up the value. I was offered $6k TRADE IN in September in Ohio with 160k miles on it and in need of repair (new radiator/bearings). I'd say you might be a little on the high end for person retail but on the money for what a dealer would ask for it. Remember, these trucks command top dollar like others have said so I wouldn't take a penny less than $18k unless you have to.
Just my 2 cents. GLWTS.

06 4runner
Thanks for all the info guys. I was surprised what these are bringing myself when I started looking for a low mileage T4R. I know that the price is on the high end, but as hard as these are to find with this low a mileage, there may be someone that just has to have it. I do have a little wiggle room but not much as I too "just had to have it" and I paid for it! I really don't want to sell it but, you gotta do what you gotta do. At least we will still have a T4R as I have another 2006 SR5 with the V8 and 46k miles. We had this one first and we liked it so much that my wife wanted her own.

@ mxer
you're right.... I have no idea what a 4runner is worth on resale as I dont own two previously owned 4R's. Bottom line is he can ask whatever he wants doesn't mean someone will pay it, hard to put a price on emotional attachment for the buyer, easy to do for the seller...

price for '06 4runner
Chiming in...
I JUST paid $15700 for my 2006 4runner SR5 4x4 with 68k miles. 1 owner, great condition. Arizona car.
I have looked for MONTHS to find this car (they're hard to find in the west with low miles and great condition.)
I'm chiming in because I haven't seen a price as low as that out here in the 8 months I've been looking. They're a bit cheaper in the eastern / northeast USA, but I thought I'd share that with you to help you gauge pricing yours...

REALLY! No one interested in a 2006 T4R with only 33k miles on it? I guess I'll have to try to come up with another plan.

I feel your pain. Have mine on here, Craigslist in 2 areas, and cars.com.
Market for 4runners is tough right now I guess...

I'd be interested if I could afford it. You can see from my recent WTB post that this is what I'm looking for other than I am looking for something with higher miles simply so it'll be in my price range.
My guess is that people on these forums are more interested in the older generation t4r's just by looking at the posts.
Great one you've got though, good luck!

Probably the wrong place to expect a lot of interest on a low mileage vehicle at a premium price. Most on here know cars and are much more worried about condition of vehicle, maintenance and climate than 40k miles vs 80k miles.
You probably want to post more pictures showing how well it's been maintained. Underneath/interior etc.
