The car was originally purchased at Libertyville Toyota in IL in 2002. The original owner then traded it in like 10 years later at the same dealer. The second owner bought the truck also from Libertyville Toyota. I purchased it from him through CL. The second owner bought it for his son who came I'll with a medical issue and therefore put on less than I think 5k miles in 2 years.
All electronics are in working condition. Power antenna no longer works (didn't work when I bought the truck)
Drivers side window switch is intermittent sometimes. Looks to be some light water corrosion from driving with the windows open on rainy days. Works 90% of the time.
Small ding on the hood where the pain chipped off (from previous owner, I have treated it with clear coat to prevent further damage)
Small ding on the rear hatch, just beneath the glass in between the Toyota emblem & the SR5 emblem. (From previous owner)
Rear window works perfectly. Rear wiper works perfectly.
Tires are Cooper Discovery LSX tires. They are an aggressive AT tire but really good wear characteristics. They have roughly 15k miles on them (brand new when I got the truck)
Other than that, the only issues cosmetically are scratches on the fenders and dent on the middle of the rear bumper. I'll try to get pictures of the fender scratches uploaded as some are deep. Not quite sure how someone could scratch them up like they are?
Any damage or cosmetic blemish is from the previous owner. It took me about 5 months to find this truck due to appearance, sport edition package, low mileage, and center diff lock.
Carfax when I purchased it showed 2 previous owners (no auctions or anything sketchy), no accidents, and only 1 service record for the LBJ (Lower Ball Joint) service recall performed at Libertyville Toyota at the time of trade in.
It is garage kept, and personally I think it's in good condition. Good local history and as you can see on my two threads, she's clean for being 13 yrs old.
Price wise, I am looking for a fair deal. The Runners have some pretty wacky prices on the Internet, going all the way up to $12k, but somewhere around the $7,000 is what I'm looking for. I'm sure you've looked around, but you can't find a sport edition with low miles and the diff lock for less that $8k these days. That plus the TB/WP being completed and the maintenance I've put in, I think my price range is fair..
Thanks,
Konrad
