Arrow Built 1999 Toyota Land Cruiser in Imperial Jade Mica for sale in Los Angeles, CA

SOLD

I know this isn't a 4Runner, but my original quest was to find the right 06-09 T4R and have some fun with it, so I spent some time hanging around this forum. I looked at some but didn't end up finding the right one. When this popped up I fell in love online and went out to buy it. Figured I'd post it up here in case someone else wants to get into a Cruiser instead of a 4Runner. Asking $11,000 OBO. Timing belt done at 186k. Rig is located in Los Angeles, CA. Oregon title in hand. I have a folder an inch thick with years of records. I added up all the custom parts on the car and it easily climbed over $10,000 at new retail pricing (and that doesn’t count labor to put it all on). Car was in a low speed accident with a stationary vehicle. See details below. If you have any questions don't hesitate to get in touch with me. I am not interested in parting the car out. Oregon tags good until July 2017.

Vitals: 1999 with 225,000 miles in Imperial Jade Mica with grey leather interior
OEM rear locking differential (doesn’t like to engage)
Goodyear Duratrac 315/75/R16 tires with full size 5th (very good tread left) with full Discount Tire coverage meaning free replacement if you get a blowout or flat (fully transferable)
ARB front air locker and air compressor
TJM 100 Series Landcruiser Alloy T15 Bull Bar
TJM rear bumper (discontinued?)
WARN CE XD9000i winch
Gobi Stealth Rack with removable sunroof insert and rear ladder
Custom rock sliders from Fearless Fabrication
2.5" Old Man Emu heavy load kit suspension kit with Slee diff drop
Fox Racing 2.0 shocks
Doug Thorley cat-back exhaust
ScanGauge II installed in the dash
Snorkel intake (not sure of brand)
DEPO aftermarket black headlamps
WeatherTech floor mats
Kenwood head unit with bluetooth
Rear backup camera through head unit that worked flawlessly until a few weeks ago
Remote starter system (great for getting the air conditioning running and cooling off the car before you get in)
LED interior and reverse lights
Pre-wired for front and rear rack lights with console switches
Existing wiring for a subwoofer
Dark tinted windows
Recently reskinned driver's seat

Since purchasing the Cruiser I had the following done (much of it in the first month):
Had the driver’s side front axle and spindle replaced (OEM)
Redid both front wheel bearings
Replaced and regreased both front CV joints/boots
Replaced all four front upper and lower ball joints
Replaced front sway bar bushings
Put in new steering rack bushings (may still need new rack)
Alignment
Replaced the sunroof panel (new OEM)
Had an oil and filter change with Mobil 1 full synthetic high mileage

Still plenty of fun

The damage story is I rear ended a full size truck with a full load (in each vehicle) at like 10 mph. Got faked out at a right turn on red, guy went so I look to see if it’s clear and start getting on it only to look back and see the truck dead stopped again. Loaded to the brim I just couldn’t get slowed back down enough in the short distance I had. I had to unbolt the passenger side wheel well part of the bumper so the tire wouldn't rub on it, but I have it in hand with all the accessories. The insurance adjuster didn’t remove the bumper but gave me an initial estimate of around $1700 to fix it at their shop and get me on the road. Went to my own body shop and the rig was declared a total loss, but based on what everyone else has said in person and on this forum, the damage isn't that bad.

I was already planning on selling before the fender bender, but now it’s a good opportunity for someone else at a reduced price. If you’re not picky just straighten out the off road bumper and hammer the fender back where it’s supposed to be and you’re all set. If you do want to fix it, it will probably need a passenger side fender repair or replacement, front bumper brackets and adjustment, a hood realignment and either removal or replacement of the factory bug deflector piece. I’m not sure what else if anything. I saw some moisture in the passenger side DEPO headlight after a car wash so it may be cracked somewhere underneath (looks fine from the outside). I still have OEM headlights in boxes as well and will include them if asked. Car has some door dings and I'd say overall is in great shape for the age and miles. Could use some exterior freshening up like some new paint or plastidip of the driver's side trim door trim piece and some paint on the roof. It looks gorgeous after a good washing. To my eye, it was one of the best looking 100 Series up for sale when I was in the market.

Sorry somehow I lopped off the price quote when I was modifying this for posting on this forum. Would love to get $12,000 for the rig. Edited the top post to add that.

Thanks! Doesn't hurt to make offers as I will likely just go with the best one I get. Feel free to PM me.

Price drop to $11,000. Was told with a clean Oregon title in hand the registration/verification shop could transfer it to California with no brand on the title.

I already have an Oregon title. I was just posting an update saying there may be hope it could be transferred into someone else's name upon sale with a clean title given what I was told at the registration office.
