***SOLD***
I've decided to sell my extra 4Runner. I bought this one for the gf and she has no interest in driving it I can get her out of my Audi so I've decided to sell the t4r. It was either this one or my 5th gen. And the 5th gen won. But not by much I really enjoy this 3rd gen.
So about the 4Runner.
It's a 2000 4Runner limited 4x4 with rear locker! Auto transmission, And it has the 2nd gen supercharger with the dynamic tensioner. This has always been a pnw truck and is totally rust/cancer free body is incredibly strait. All original body panels and paint. Paint is good too. No sun fade.
It's got 216k on it I got it from the 2nd owner and he had it for 10yrs.
So onto what I've done to it already. I anticipated on building this one and I started with the basics. Tune up and timing belt service along with all fluids.
In the process of this I got a little carried away and thought about what if I add more boost. So I took the heads off and had them gone through. They looked amazing for 212k as did the cylinder walls. All gaskets where new intake manifold included. When I was in there I put in a new knock sensor harness. So as far as the timing belt service goes obviously I did the belt and all tensioners along with the water pump and a cooler thermostat because of the supercharger. All parts were oem! I put a new radiator in too.
I put in new plugs. One step cooler for the supercharger and along with it wires.
So upon completing all that a week later the trans started to make a noise and I was the torque converter. So I removed the trans and had the tc rebuilt and while I had it out I put in a transgo shift kit. Tranny shifts awesome now.
Swapped all interior lights to led. This includes cluster and climate control.

On to the cons. Let's face it most 3rd gens have a few.
Ignition is a little temperamental sometimes it's a 20-30$ fix at a locksmith
Drivers leather has the typical wear
The 1st owner has a lady and she obviously wore heels cause the carpet by the gas pedal is ripped.
The front bumper needs paint.
Rear bumper has a small ding on the passenger side end cap. No damage to body.
And last but not least. I haven't had the time to fully trouble shoot the 4wd system yet. Something isn't communicating right. Be it a sensor or something or vac actuator or something. I've tested the hard parts. I.e. The front diff will lock and unlock with vacuume put to it. And the transfer case will lock and unlock when power is put to the actuator. I just left it in 2wd and have been driving it till I had more time to start going through the sensors and such.
I'm only asking $6000 and that's firm.
