FS: 3rd Gen - 2.7 3RZ - 5 speed manual - 2x4 - SOLD

** SOLD **

Price lowered for Forum members. Would prefer that it go to someone who really wants it

- 1997 Toyota 4Runner - 2.7 - 3RZ - 5 speed - 2 wheel dirve - Unicorn
- Good condition. Very clean
- $4300
- 200k miles
- Interior surprisingly clean for it's age and miles. Only real issue is that the drivers' seat is a little torn where you get in for obvious reasons.
- located in Santa Barbara, Ca. Technically Goleta, 93117
- I haven't even completed my lift yet. It's got '07 FJ Springs in the back, havent even put the Bilstein (Tundra) 5100's on yet. It has Moog 'tall' springs in the front with Bilstein (Tundra) 5100's
- Just replaced the front rotors and pads
- two brand new lug nuts
- Almost new Cooper 31" AT's
- Just smogged
- Just registered
- I just got the title about a week ago
- Needs absolutely nothing. Ready for anything.
- Pissed I'm selling it. Wife and I just got into a big fight about this as she wanted the 4Runner, now she doesn't. I bought her a Highlander which she seems to like much better.
- I do not want to get rid of this thing as I love it, but in marriage you dont always get what you want

These pics are pre-lift

Post lift

I will have to update the thread with pics of the interior as I dont have any yet. At this point I'm just angry and want this thing out of my garage

** Update - crappy pics of the interior ***

Hello there, I'm new to the forum and considering a 4runner as my next vehicle in the near future. Question, any maintenance records? And yes, interior pics would be great.

I'm in Oakland, CA so could conceivably drive down with a friend and take this off your hands quick. I'll send a PM with my contact infos.

Buy it! You can mod the hell out of that motor & easily surpass the 5vz in HP.

I'll get some interior pics up here in a sec.

I dont have any mainteneance history but I managed to get one of the tire kickers to give me the carfax. First owner had it 15 years and its been in zero accidents

I have a couple local guys that are telling me they are 'serious' but who knows

Cool I appreciate the enthusiasm I am currently daily driving a 25 year old German car and looking to go Japanese for less hassles. Plus need a truck for some camping adventures. Was thinking of going 1st gen, but open to options and of course those are harder to find in good condition.

Nice clean looking 3rd gen... I'd be seriously interested if it were a 4WD (already have a 2WD driver). At any rate, Saturday bump for you, sir...
