Rare 2009 Trail Edition 4Runner for sale.

From the Toyota press release:

TOYOTA 4RUNNER ADDS NEW TRAIL EDITION FOR 2009

The 2009 Toyota 4Runner full-capability sport-utility vehicle adds an optional Trail Edition package. Available exclusively for the 4Runner SR5 with V6 and 4WD, the Trail Edition package combines enhanced off-road capability with unique design.
For better off-road performance, the package adds a locking rear differential, Active Traction Control (A-TRAC), Bilstein shock absorbers and unique 16-inch alloy wheels with 265/70R16 tires. Externally, the Trail Edition package distinguishes the 4Runner with color-keyed grille, door handles, rear license plate garnish and “Trail Edition” badging, as well as black tubular side steps and tubular roof rack. The Trail Edition package is available in three exterior colors: Titanium Metallic, Natural White and Shadow Mica.
The Trail Edition package also features seats covered in water-resistant material and charcoal fabric bolsters. A perforated leather-wrapped steering wheel integrates controls for the unique AM/FM/CD audio system with six speakers and a detachable TomTom® personal navigation unit. The system offers WMA/MP3 CD capability, Bluetooth® wireless connectivity, satellite radio capability and available iPod® connectivity.

I am the second owner and have had this Trail Edition since 2016. The original owner regularly had it serviced at the dealer and I have copies of all the maintenance records. Other than rubber floormats, it is all stock.

Mileage: 128K

Only known issues:
-The nav/radio display is stuck in navigation mode. The radio works fine otherwise.
-2 of the HVAC control knobs have burned out lights.

Clean title and CarFax.

I have all of the manuals and 2 keys w/remotes.

Price: $17,500 obo

How the heck did you get cloth seats in your trail edition? I thought they all came with the black waterproof vinyl/pleather...

I'd kill to have cloth seats in mine

I think the cloth seats were standard in the 09 TE. Then again, I've never seen another one in person - just pictures.

This was the exact rig I was hunting for almost a year ago. It's even just up the I5. Gave up. Bought a 5th Gen. Good luck.

Is this still available? I can't quite tell from the pics, but is the underlying interior color the light gray/smoke color? or is it the tan/oak?
