Up for sale is my 99, limited, leather, locker, low(ish) mileage 4Runner.
Build thread(pretty basic but it's here)
I bought this 4runner in March of 17, with a folder full of receipts and was planning to make an awesome camping/overland rig out of it but like most people know, life gets in the way.
The body has 168,500 miles on it. However, in August of 2012, the previous owner had an engine put in it that had 100,000 miles on it. At that time of replacement, the 4runner had 120,000 miles on it. So there is a 20,000-mile difference between the body and engine. (I have all the paperwork from the engine replacement. The part sourcing and work was done at Champagne Service in Seattle)
Since March of 17, I have put 9,000 miles on it. That's just over 500 miles a month since I have owned it.
In that time I:
Installed an OME suspension lift, front and rear
Installed new steering rack bushings
New Hankook DynaPro Tires
New radio
New alternator
Changed all the fluids(oil twice)
Bug guards to the hood and windows
Added lights to grill
LED Cluster lights
Tinted Windows
Removed the running boards(I still have them, they're yours when you buy)
I also have the "Tacoma Whip Mod" antenna parts needed to replace the power antenna.
The truck hasn't given me any trouble at all, I just need something larger and more spacious.
I would give the interior a 6/10 and the exterior about the same. It's a 20-year-old 4x4.
I have owned a number of Toyota's and this one is the most rust free I've ever owned.
I just recently inspected the lower ball joints and they appear to be fine, with no play in them. Currently, the 4runner has a CURT extended roof rack on it, for the right price it can go with, if not I'll remove it.
Everything works as it should, no known issues. 4runner with get detailed prior to sale.
