I hate selling this truck, but it no longer fits my life and it's too good to sit in my driveway. Hoping it can go to someone on here looking for a quality V8 to build or run into eternity.
For sale is a 2006 Toyota 4Runner Limited with the 2UZFE 4.7 V8 Salsa Red. This is is my fourth 4Runner, and second with this wonderful V8. It really is a million-mile motor and has made this generation of 4Runner very much sought after. I love these trucks.
It has 233k miles with proper service records and regular oil changes using full synthetic Mobil1 High Mileage.
I purchased the truck from Sunnyside Toyota in 2016 with just over 200k on the odometer. This truck came from Colorado, so it was entirely rust free. This is another rarity for Northeast Ohio, finding a rust free Toyota 4x4.
The timing belt and water pump were done at 215k by Summit Toyota of Akron, and I replaced the alternator at 216k and lubricated the chassis and driveshafts with Toyota-designated lubricant. This was a $1500 service and is done every 100k miles.
I bought the truck as an extra vehicle, and one for chores/bad weather/tinkering. Its towed trailers, moved friends, and pulled friends out of snow banks. The 4Runner is truly a do it all vehicle.
It has some trail rash on the passenger side from some bushes on a trail, missing a piece of body trim from the same trail, and has a new unpainted bumper because the old one was damaged from the previous owner scraping a garage and it broke the retaining clips, so it was sagging.
The 4x4 works perfectly with no noises, hesitations, or clunks. The locking differential also engages and disengages flawlessly.
Inside is clean and comfortable. All features work. The driver's seat has the usual Toyota leather tears on the side bolster. I added the smokers kit to get an extra 12v power source and drilled two holes for my Bluetooth module to have power and for the audio line out to run under the console instead of over top. This is included in the sale. The back window works and the hatch has a new locking mechanism as of Fall 2018.
The paint is in decent condition. Some clearcoat peel here and there, miscellaneous scratches and chips. It is a 233k mile truck, it is not showroom but it still shines. Wheels have some scratches but are in good condition. Tires are good for another year or so, if I was going to keep this truck I was planning on putting new tires Fall 2019. All four ride well with no leaks or shakes. This truck is dead solid at 80 mph.
If the truck sells to a T4R member, it will come with a CaliRaised stealth LED bar, Burtman-bought throttle controller, 2 Inv4drZm recovery points, Slyfox bypass, and I'll leave the T4r.org stickers on the windows ;)
Clean, clear Ohio title in hand. $8,000 obo. Located in the backyard of Akron Canton Airport (CAK), for geographic reference. Thanks. Pictures here:
