Regretfully, I’m putting my 2007 4Runner 4x4 up for sale or possibly a partial trade for a clean, older Toyota vehicle to drive daily plus cash on your end(Camry, Corolla, Solara, Avalon, etc). She’s beautiful and gets compliments everywhere we go. Runs and drives better than new. RUST FREE, check out the pictures. I have $6000 in receipts for parts alone that I have installed in the past year to make this thing a bulletproof traveling machine. All labor was performed by me.. I’m an ASE certified technician, service manager, and parts specialist. Unfortunately, I need the money for other projects and I’m not going to be able to enjoy it for myself. I was a technician for several years at our local Toyota dealerships and I know 4th Gen Runners and 2nd Gen Tacoma’s very, very well. Buy with confidence.
I am the third owner, vehicle has spent its entire life in western KY and So. Indiana. No accident history, clean CarFax. Second owner purchased at ~50k miles and changed the oil every 3k with full synthetic oil only, and so have I. I bought it with 131k miles and have personally completed everything listed below. 99% of the work was completed as preventative maintenance to address common failure points on 4th gen runners and the vast majority of the parts have VERY little mileage on them. Currently sits at 153k and does not leak or burn a single drop of any fluid.
-New OEM FJ Springs (bought NEW, not used)
-Bilstein 5100 shocks (@.85) Total lift is a little over 2 inches
-TRD Off-Road 5th Gen Wheels
-BFG TAKO2 (265/70r17)
-Front Brake Calipers (OEM Toyota)
-Front Brake Pads/Rotors (NAPA Ultra Premium coated Rotors, adaptive one pads)
-Rear Brake Pads/Rotors (NAPA Ultra Premium coated Rotors, adaptive one pads)
-Front Diff/Rear Diff/T Case fluids (Mobil 1)
-Axle Boot Kits (OEM Toyota, still running OEM axle shafts)
-Entirely new OEM HVAC Assembly (evap core, heater core, expansion valve, servos, etc... $1700)
-Spark Plugs (OEM)
-Air Filter (Denso)
-Radiator (Denso)
-A/C Condenser (Denso)
-Water Pump (Aisin)
-Radiator hoses (Gates)
-Serpentine Belt (Bando)
-All Idler Pulleys (Koyo)
-Brake Fluid Flush
-Cooling System Flush (OEM Coolant)
-Transmission Drain/Fill (OEM WS Fluid)
-B&M transmission cooler (for kicks, vehicle is not used to tow ANYTHING. Run in line WITH the radiator, not as a stand-alone unit) LED lights added throughout interior and license plate lights (completed by previous owner)
-Husky Floor Liners (installed by previous owner)
I would seriously be surprised to find a 4th gen that has been treated this well and maintained this meticulously. There is no limit to the amount of miles it could see in the hands of another enthusiast. All the work is done.. you just get to drive it and enjoy it. Has a couple scratches here and there, but the paint is in EXCELLENT condition. I clayed the paint, polished with meguiars m205, and waxed bi weekly with Meguiars NXT tech wax. My cars reap the full benefit of my clinical OCD diagnosis. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I’d be glad to answer promptly and have absolutely nothing to hide.

I am located in Evansville, IN and we have a major airport if you’d like to fly in and drive home. Price is $12,500. Given what I see others going for in who KNOWS what kind of shape mechanically and cosmetically, this seems to be pretty fair. Think about your maintenance costs over the next 10 years.. you have nothing to do but oil changes, fluid changes, and basic maintenance.
Only trades considered would be older Honda or Toyota vehicles to use as a reliable daily driver PLUS the remainder in cash on your end. Please be realistic in your valuations.
